Labyrinth Bay/Shoal Lake Narrows Outpost Rates:

Fishing & Vacation Housekeeping Trips:

Extra night at the beginning or end of you trip @ $70.person

*** We take parties of two people to twelve people.  To get exclusive use of Labyrinth Bay Outpost a minimum of eight people is required. There are three lakefront cottages available. Two of the cottages have full cooking facilities.

Boats and Motors:

We rent 16-ft Lund Big Water Boats with 25 HP motors. The boats are all outfitted for three people and have swivel seats, wood floors, paddles, a full safety kit, a fishing net, and life jackets. Boats and motors are rented at $100/boat per day.

Our 18 foot Lund boat with 50 HP motor is $150. Per day

All boating equipment and motors are the Renter's FULL responsibility.

Private Boats:

We do not charge extra for docking. If electricity is needed for charging batteries just the cost of gasoline for the generator is charged to you. Estimate your boat gasoline requirements needed from us and let us know in advance so adequate supplies are on hand for your use.

Boat transportation to camp is provided and we can help you carry up to 2000 pounds of your guests/gear in. If your group requires renting any of our boats for your entire trip the transportation out is included. Private boat guests should mark the way in with their GPS/ maps. Boat owners needing additional help out of camp with boat and driver can be reserved for a nominal fee of $100. Clearwater Bay is the closet government boat launch and the route is marked right to camp.

Fishing Guide Service at Prevailing Rates:

Note: If you or other members of your group can run a boat safely, know how to fish, and follow a map, a guide is not needed with the 11X17" hydrographic chart given out.

Those still wishing guide services can order these services in advance.

If you are new to these waters going out with Don for a half-day in his boat is worth considering. Learn some of the fishing spots, techniques and get oriented to the area.

Two People $300. Three people $375. Extra time @ $75. Hour.

Fishing & Vacation Trip Information

•  Deposits are required to hold your chosen dates and are 250$ per person.

•  Deposits received will be acknowledged with the remaining balance, dates, and service ordered.

•  All checks sent 12 weeks or sooner before the start of the trip, need to be certified.

•  Except for deposit, we do NOT accept personal checks.

•  Trip cost balances are due upon arrival in cash or cashier check.

•  Regular rates are charged for late arrivals and early departures.

•  All rates are quoted in US Funds. Rates are subject to 13% Canadian HST taxes.

•  In the event, you or members of your party need to cancel we will gladly rebook your time in any available spot we have in the year of your reservation.

•  Rates are discounted for parties over eight persons in non-peak months.

•  Discounts are given for staying more than seven days.

•  Our rates are based on taking one boat trip to the outpost and returning for the entire party. Additional boat trips can be arranged at a nominal fee of $100.

•  Fishing licenses are purchased Before leaving the landing at the start of your trip.

•  Guests are encouraged to purchase a Conservation Fishing Permit and practice selective harvesting of fish.

Children under 16 can fish under an adult’s license.

•  Trips start around 8-9 AM and end around 6 PM.

•  Extra night at the beginning or end of you trip @ $70.

•  Guests are responsible for all physical damage to equipment including housekeeping cottages and boats/motors. All equipment must be left in clean and working condition or extra charges apply.

•  There are two canoes available for guest use at no charge. Just ask Don and he will get everything all set up for you. Life jackets are required and supplied.

•  There are hiking trails on the island and area trails can be accessed with short boat/canoe rides.

Private Boats:
